These are no ordinary workshops. Our workshops are designed to suit you. Each workshop starts with our ideas about what could be helpful, and you choose what is important to your working role. We will not be teachers standing in front of a class. We will all sit together to explore and practice activities that will develop your understanding in an experiential way. We aim to make including changes in to your professional life easier to implement.

An interactive workshop for neuro-rehabilitation professionals looking at insight and awareness after brain injury.
This interactive workshop considers insight and awareness after brain injury. Changes in awareness are frequently identified as one of the most challenging aspects of neuro-rehabilitation and have significant effects on long-term outcome for individuals and families. This workshop is aimed at any professional working in neuro-rehabilitation and will cover theoretical aspects of awareness, strategies for assessment and intervention, and implications of this type of work.
This workshop includes opportunities for collaborative discussion as well as skills practice and sharing of useful resources.

The Brain Place can offer any core workshop to your rehabilitation team, at your place of work. These will be personalised to meet your needs, for example for a specific neurological condition or setting.
We will also consider requests for bespoke workshops on all aspects of Clinical Neuropsychology.

Cancellation Policy
Core professional workshops
Please note that if workshops are booked, and you are unable to attend, we will do our best to find an alternative date for you.
Full refunds will be given if we receive a minimum of 30 days’ notice.
A refund of 50% of the workshop cost will be given up to 7 days prior to the workshop.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer any refund with less than 7 days’ notice of cancellation.
Bespoke Workshops
Please note that if a bespoke workshop is booked, and you are unable to attend, we will do our best to find an alternative date for you.
Full refunds will be given if we receive a minimum of 90 days’ notice.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer any refund with less than 90 days’ notice of cancellation.

In the unlikely event that The Brain Place need to cancel a workshop, we will endeavour to give you as much notice as possible and an alternative date will be offered. If the alternative date is not suitable, a full refund will be offered.
